Catherine Harbour, PhD

Catherine Harbour is a mixed-methods researcher with expertise in public health. She collaborated with Sankofa colleagues on the BMGF Public Health Emergency Operations Centers (PHEOC) project in Nigeria and Senegal (2022-2023), the Fresno DRIVE community and workforce development initiative (2022-2023), case studies of successful advocacy for the BMGF North America Team (2021-2022), and on the UKAid-funded FSD Africa program Risk Remittance, and Integrity case studies (2021-2022). Earlier, Catherine managed a portfolio of evaluation investments at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (2014-2018). She conducted research to inform and evaluate social and behavior change programming with BBC Media Action (2011-2014) and with Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (2001-2011). Catherine holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University, an MPH in Health Behavior from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a PhD in Health Behavior & Society from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
