Mariam Traore

Program Officer & Evaluation Officer

Mariam provides research and technical support to Sankofa’s projects drawing on her extensive global experience. In her previous role with WaterAid, she supported their fundraising and program management to provide water, sanitation, and hygiene (WSH) services to the most vulnerable communities of Mali. She also interned for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Ethiopia in the planning, implementation and development of the Cost of hunger in Africa Study, a multi-sectoral study of the social and economic impact of child undernutrition in African countries. Mariam holds a Bachelor and master’s in Business management from IESEG school of Management (France) and is currently pursuing a master’s in public administration at the University of Washington.
