Reed Swain

Program Officer & Evaluation Officer

Reed provides project management and technical assistance across Sankofa's portfolio of work. Starting initially at Sankofa as a graduate intern, Reed has provided support with projects at Mary’s Place, United Way of Fresno and Madera Counties, and Central Valley Community Foundation. Reed brings prior work experience managing projects and recruitment strategy at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Reed holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from College of the Holy Cross. During her MPA experience, Reed consulted with non-profit organizations including the Pike Place Market Foundation and Northwest Folklife on projects surrounding evaluation, equity, and workforce development.
