Shachar Watemberg

Shachar has extensive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector where she worked primarily with organizations serving individuals with disabilities both in Israel and the U.S. She draws from over 10 years of experience in team leadership and development, strategic planning, nonprofit consulting, and program management. Her most recent projects include developing a marketing strategy for a Washington-based nonprofit promoting equitable employment for people with developmental disabilities, expanding its reach on a national level, and creating a business model for a foundation establishing a vocational training center for sexually exploited and at-risk youth. Shachar holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington Evans School and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and International Relations from the Hebrew University.
